Built by regulatory professionals who've lived your challenges.

Not another GRC tool built by people who've never opened a regulatory gazette. Tessera was born from the conviction that compliance should be automated, not tolerated.

Why "Tessera"

In Roman mosaics, a tessera is a single small tile. Individually minor. But remove one and the entire picture breaks.

Your enterprise is the mosaic - built from hundreds of complex pieces: products, teams, markets, strategy. Compliance is one small tile among many. But when it's missing or misaligned, everything else suffers. The fines hit. The board asks questions nobody can answer quickly. Your best people get pulled away from what actually grows the business.

Tessera keeps that tile in place - so your teams can focus on the picture, not the grout.

How we got here

After a decade of building enterprise software for regulated industries, we kept seeing the same failure mode: obligations tracked in spreadsheets, evidence gathered by hand, compliance posture assessed once a year and hoped for the best. When a €50M fine hit an organization that genuinely believed it was compliant, we knew the tooling had to change.

We built Tessera to close the gap between what regulators require and what your team can prove - automatically, continuously, and with evidence your auditor will actually accept.

What we believe

Compliance is engineering

Regulatory obligations are specifications. Evidence is test output. Audit is review. We treat compliance with the same rigor as software engineering - because it is.

Transparency builds trust

Our exposure calculations cite statutory sources. Our methodology is public. Our privacy policy is exemplary. We practice what we sell.

Automate the tedium, elevate the judgment

Machines should read regulatory gazettes, classify data, and compile evidence. Humans should make decisions about risk appetite, resource allocation, and strategy.

The team

Small team, big ambition. Regulatory domain experts, ML researchers, and product engineers - with collective experience across financial services, healthcare, and enterprise SaaS compliance.

We're hiring.

If you've built compliance systems and want to help define the category, we want to talk.
